I was disappointed with the cost of the resort fee. Our room was not cleaned the first night. We left for the strip at 9 am and returned at 9:30pm to find the room we unmade and no free towels or water. I called house keeping and they did bring and garbage filled with towels and another with water. They told me to call they next morning if I wanted my room cleaned. I called and asked for more coffee pods or lot be told that you get 4 only no matter how long f your stay. That is ridiculous, what am I paying a resort fee for in the fall months if the pool is closed and my room is dirty . Very disappointed. I feel that just I booked with Expedia I shouldn’t have been charged a resort fee. If I booked directly I would t have been charged. My son and daughter law were with me celebrating their wedding anniversary and were also charged the resort fee for a dirty room . Guessing the person might have called in sick this room stayed dirty The honorable thing for the Golden Nugget would’ve been not charges the resort fee for the one night if someone didn’t clean your room or give you water

The daily resort fee and service fee were a joke. The remotes for tvs are terrible had to request another one and was told you have to push on the button with a lot of force to get it to work...then why buy those types of remotes. I have walking issues and was not able to check in early without yet another $50 fee (did not pay) so was told they would text when room was ready. They gave me a room the furthest from the elevator. We ordered a sprite and was given an 8oz cup full of ice and charged $5. Definitely, would not recommend this hotel.

The hotel is huge. It's in a great location but from my room I could hear the Freemont Street noise. I was in the Good tower. The room was very spacious but it's a bit outdated & the room could've been cleaned a little better. But they did come in & made the bed every day & brought clean towels. They have lots of food options. Casino is big & leads right into the Freemont Street where you can do so much. Overall good.

Love the location,central to all the action on Fremont street.Hotel/casino is excellent. However room service at least in the Carson Tower where I stayed is not good for me.If one wants room service then I have to ring the day before to be serviced.However I generally play poker all night so I am sleeping until at least midday,So often my room does not get serviced.Absolute hate this way of service,
