The Golden Nugget is a nice place to stay and I generally feel safe in the casino and on Freemont Street, The area is dangerous I know people that have been robbed on the street going out for a smoke. Be aware.

Very impressed with this property! We stayed here during our wedding and it was great having everything so close by. Fremont Street is accessible through tge casino, making it a very walkable experience. I was impressed with how clean it was in our room. We stayed in the Rush tower. It does get noisy at night- that's the tradeoff for being right above Fremont Street. But we were so tired it never bugged us, and they provide ear plugs. We did have one set of sheets with slight stains but once we contacted housekeeping they provided new sheets even though it was late at night. It was convenient having restaurants on property and nearby. Loved our experience! Would stay again!

We had a great time overall. The only thing I can say as far as improvements are to increase staff availability during check-in time (the line had over 30 people in it when I checked in around 3:30pm). The pool was amazing, the food at the restaurants was delicious and the Bloody Mary at Ice Bar was awesome! Thank you!

Cockroaches on walls, mold in shower, tub is peeling (almost cut my foot) pool staff and housekeeper were great. Front desk are RUDE! Not to mention additional fees if 20 minutes early- but tell you after waiting an hour….

Cannot believe this hotel can still charge room rates of over $150 per night at this outdated, dirty, OLD hotel. The hotel is directly in front of the event stage for Fremont so when there are ear plugs on your nightstand, you know why. We had the pleasure of the Sublime concert, didn’t sleep a wink as the whole hotel vibrated! Never again

Disappointing that housekeeping didn’t happen at all during 3 day stay. Called to tell them we were out of items they did not replace anything just dropped in bags. Th ry took trash out one of the 3 days - I called and they said you have to schedule housekeeping a day in advance. I asked to be put on that list. We returned and nothing had been done in our room except a couple towels were left. Upon checkout I inquired. Advised of the issues they said they only offer housekeeping if you stay more than 4 days and in a different area of the hotel. Nothing in my reservation said no housekeeping would be offered. When I called I got a different answer than the front desk. Seems like messaging is off. It’s not a deal breaker but when you’re paying resort fees on top of room fees you expect at least housekeeping services.
