Excellent value for the price. Good location and the rooms were recently renovated. It’s obviously an older building, but it adds to the overall character. Super close to the strip, or you can enjoy yourself right there at the property. Will definitely stay again.

It was ok, the rooms were good, bed and pillows were comfy. It's a very old hotel so there are updates that need to be done. The elevators were a bit nerve racking, one broke while there. They advertise they have a pool and exercise room and they do not. The restaurant Railroad Pass cafe was really good and the servers were great.

Staff were very helpful and professional. The facilities were clean. However. The air conditioning was a wall unit and could not keep up with the heat. There is no fridge or microwave in the room. The hallways were hot. The elevators broke multiple times during my stay.

Dilapidated!! I working elevator, air conditioner that sounded like a train, no separation from smoky casino. They did promptly bring up a refrigerator (that barely worked) when I requested one.

Locked in a restroom
Everything was ok except the restroom door handle. I got locked in the restroom and could not get out. This sounds strange, but when I pulled the door shut it closed and would not open. Luckily, I was with a relative friend who was tried calling the front desk and no one answered. He had to go to the front office and report that I was locked in the restroom. Maintenance personnel were able to open the restroom door and life was normal again. I asked if they could possibly give me some Comps - due to the inconvenience on being locked in the restroom. They gave me the run around and didn’t get anything. When we were checking out on Friday morning, a couple were near the elevator waiting. I told them what happened to me being locked in the restroom and they said they were stuck in the elevator for about 10 minutes before they could get out. Wow, wish I were making this up. Other than that, room was clean, comfortable, etc. I usually stay here for the bargain price without paying a resort fee in Las Vegas. I prefer Henderson, NV for economic prices.

The rooms were very spacious and clean. The restaurants on the property had really good food. Lots of different items to choose from. Casino had live music on the weekend which was enjoyable. The staff at check in and the bar were so nice. This place has a very nice pet area with artificial turf. Reasonable pet fee. We enjoyed our 4 day stay.

I was impressed with the hotel room, it was updated and clean, there was a piece of baseboard that was coming off, and the A/C didn't blow very hard but it was cold air..Maybe a ceiling fan would help.
