Shower drain was clogged and completely filled up the bottom of the stall. Neighborhood felt unsafe. The room smelled overwhelmingly of chemicals - the sheets, air, everything. It was nauseating. Looks and sounds way better online than in person.

The room was prepaid. I was actually charged a large amont to my credit card upon checking, which the hotel says will be refunded in 7 days for incedentals. I could not check in without it. No charge should go on the credit card, only a hold. Now I have the extra chore to make sure I get the refund, and If I do not, I will have a problem in my hands. Be ware of large required incidental charge on check in.

The rooms on the first floor offer NO privacy. The window is right on the sidewalk where people passing by would look right in your room. We had to keep the curtins closed which blocked sunlight from coming in. I will book a room on the higher floors next time.

Good service, simple but acceptable setting.
The rooms are somewhat spartan but very clean. The staff is outstanding especially the front desk. I had forgotten to bring the mouse to my computer and the front desk man went to his office and supplied me with an extra one. The breakfast is very good buffet with a very helpful cook on station to take your orders but it is again a simple, somewhat spartan setting. the lobby has a nice refreshment corner with tea, coffee and light snacks. The rooms are small and simple. Over all I would recommend it for medium cost business travel. There is no nearby subway stop so taking taxis or Lyfts is necessary.
